Jacqueline "Jackie" Bourgeois, 91, Live Oak, FL passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. The Marlboro, MA born native started her career as a medical technologist at Marlboro Hospital in Massachusetts and relocated to Hollywood, Florida in 1969 where she continued her career at Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of Little Flower Catholic Church and School.

Jackie, who was lovingly known as "Mawmaw" by her grandchildren, was devoted to her husband of 67 years and her family. She was a strong-willed and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother, never missing a school event, band concert, or scouting ceremony. She is remembered by her family and friends as a woman of faith who spoke her mind, but who would always be there for those who meant the most to her.

Mrs. Bourgeois is survived by her son, Paul Bourgeois (Judy); sister, Mary Elizabeth Rogers; and five grandchildren, Nathanael, Hannah, Noah, Jonathan, and Zachary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Bourgeois and sister, Pauline Hawes.

There will be a visitation held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Daniels Funeral Home (1126 Ohio Ave. N, Live Oak, FL 21064) and a Catholic Mass on February 16, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church (1905 Epiphany Ct. Lake City, FL, 32025).

Mrs. Bourgeois' burial will be on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
