James W. "Jim" Dykes, 83, Live Oak, FL passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. The Homestead, FL born native moved to Live Oak in 1984 from Homestead, he was of Baptist Faith and served in the Florida National Guard in Homestead for six years. Mr. Dykes is survived by his daughters: Tammy Dykes, Live Oak; Sandra Saxton, Lakeland, FL, Jamie Dykes, Live Oak, LeAnn Dykes, Live Oak; sons: James Dykes, Live Oak, John Dykes, Live Oak, Seth Dykes, Live Oak; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 21st at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Pat Chewning officiating.
