James "Jimbo" Liberto Sr, aged 67, of O'Brien, FL, passed away on August 10, 2025. Born on October 4, 1957 in Baltimore City, MD, James moved to O'Brien five years ago from Baltimore. He proudly served in the Army and was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Branford.

James is survived by his wife of fifty years, Brenda Liberto, and his children: Christina Sovey (Gene) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jamie Miller of Modesto, CA, Mellisa Fano (Daniel) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Katherine Rose Liberto of O'Brien, FL, James Liberto, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Michael Delacruz of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sons-in-law, Jimmy "Jr" Wright and Steve Miller, and his grandson, Bryan Liberto.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 16th at First Baptist Church of Branford.

A memorial will be held at a later date for his Baltimore friends and family who could not attend.
