James D. "Moe" Butler, 83, Live Oak, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The Philadelphia, PA born native was of Morman faith, and served in the United States Marines for eight years. He worked as a boat engine mechanic, took care of his animals, and enjoyed searching the river for arrowheads in his early years.

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife of sixty plus years: Luise Butler; three daughters: Kimberly Dawn Butler, Vikki Lynn Gamble, Jamie Michelle Laurie; grandchildren: Stefan, Derek, Joshua, Timothy A., Kathryn, Rachel Amber Anthony Jody Scott, Kevin, Bradley, Tony, Jr., Matthew, Timothy S., Susan, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
