Mr. James Louis Pfaller, 74, son of Jack C. and Helen Rita Boehnien Pfaller passed away early on the morning of Saturday, July 16, 2022. James was born June 2, 1948, in Mishawaka, St. Joseph County Indiana. James served honorably in the U.S. Army medical core, as a Private E-1, stationed in Alaska, during the Vietnam-era conflict. James was a graduate of Merritt Island High School in Merritt Island, FL (Class of 1966). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his eldest sister, Rita Mae Johnson, (2011); his eldest brother Jack C. Pfaller, II, (2011) (Brenda); Ruth Ann Smith (Richard) (2000).

He is survived by one sister, Susan O'Hara (John), and nieces, Ruby Butler, Jasper, FL; Kelsey Pfaller, Tampa, FL and nephews, John Smith (Angela), Lawrenceville, GA, and Robert Smith (Catherine), Columbia, South Carolina, Leon Johnson, Jasper, FL; and John Correia, Iowa City, Iowa. James will also be missed by his special extended family: Kelly Caudill and her family. He will be cremated and his ashes will be interned in Bushnell, FL. No services or viewings are planned.
