Jamie Turner, 50, Branford, FL passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. The Inverness, FL born native moved to Branford from McAlpin in 2020 and attended Grace Chapel in O'Brien, FL. He worked for the Department of Corrections for over twenty years, he was a RRT and K9 Member while working at Hamilton CI and worked as a Classifications Officer at Suwannee CI for the last nine years.

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife of thirty-two years: Laura J. Turner, Branford, FL; mother: Janice Gilbert, McAlpin, FL; two daughters: Brittany Lowry (Chris), Live Oak, Jessica Turner, Reno, NV; one sister: Jennifer Turner, Live Oak; grandmother: Betty Gilbert, Crystal River, FL; grandchildren: Laylee, Sora, Oliver, Kendall, and Bryce.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 20th at Daniels Memorial Chapel (Live Oak) with Mr. Mike McInnis officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will be held in O'Brien Cemetery.
