Jane Land White, or "Nanny" to her loved ones, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. Loved ones on heaven and earth celebrated her 78th birthday and her life.

Jane was born in Seffner, Florida as the fifth of nine children. Jane married Buddy White on October 14, 1961, in Citrus Park, Florida. Shortly after, the couple moved back to Suwannee County. Jane and Buddy modeled perseverance, grit, and hard work as they built and grew various businesses and raised three boys. Jane is best known for her talents in the kitchen, her love of food, and always having an open place at the dinner table. She loved gardening, cooking, and helping others. She will always be remembered for her kind smile, beautiful laugh, and warm heart.

Jane is preceded by her parents, Lessie and Clayton Land, alongside her siblings: Dean Hagan, Patricia "Trish" Pervis, Bobby Land, Philip Land, and Lawrence Land.

She is survived by her husband Buddy White, sons: Franklin and Kim White, Ed and Vicki White, and Ronald White (Jen), siblings: Claudia Hendricks, Clayton Land, Jr., and Shirley Cannon, grandchildren: Spencer White (Kristen), Rebecca Bennett (Lem), Katherine Hygema (Joshua), Tiffanie White, Taylor White (Justin), Trey White (Claudia), Levi White (Zay), and Trevon White, and great-grandchildren: Madilyn Bennett, Gretta White, Caleb Bennett, and Hoyt White.

Jane's celebration of life ceremony will be at 10 am Thursday, September 21st at Daniels Memorial Chapel with interment following in Live Oak Cemetery. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 20th at Daniels Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.
