Jeanie Cheshire Green, aged 74, of Lake Park, GA, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026 after a long and hard-fought two-year battle with an aggressive cancer. She had moved to Lake Park, GA, 15 years ago from Live Oak, FL, and was a cherished member of the West Lake Church of God in Jennings, FL. Jeanie also enjoyed her work at Cracker Barrel, where she formed lasting friendships and shared her warm heart with everyone she met. Jeanie was a strong, loving, sweet, and generous woman who deeply cherished time spent with her family and friends. Her faith in Jesus was the steady foundation of her life. Jeanie's kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jeanie is survived by her loving family, including her step-daughters Kathy Harris (Mike) of Live Oak, FL, Peggy Dudley of Live Oak, FL, and Cindy Young of Live Oak, FL; her step-son Steve Green of Live Oak, FL; her sister Sylvia Russell (Henry) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her brothers Jimmy Cheshire of Lake Wales, FL, and Cecil Cheshire (Lisa) of Live Oak, FL. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Jeanie was preceded in death by her father, Cecil F. Cheshire; her mother, Mary D. Cheshire; her husband, W.A. Green; her step-son, Buddy Green, & her sister, Cecilia Williamson.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 20th, at Daniels Memorial Chapel, followed by a service at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Cynthia Mosely. Interment will take place at Corinth Baptist Church in Jasper, FL.
