Jeffery Daniel 'Jeff' Rodgers, a resident of the Live Oak and Lake City areas, was born on June 27, 1974, and passed away on June 5, 2026. He was the beloved son of John Daniel Rodgers and Norma Jean Tomlinson Roberts. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. Jeff dedicated his career to serving as a correction officer in Hamilton, Suwannee, Marion, and NWFRC, where he worked his way up from officer to sergeant to lieutenant to Wellness Specialist.

Jeff was a man of Christian faith who enjoyed hunting, especially deer, and all kinds of fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia 'Tricia' Rodgers; his mother, Norma Jean Roberts; his daughter, Jennifer Danielle Rodgers; his son, Johnathan Wymon Rodgers; his sisters, Tracey Whiddon, Sherrie Rodgers, and Sandy Rodgers; and his cherished grandchildren, Addison, Kristin, Lysander, and Charolette. He will be dearly missed by many friends, family, and coworkers.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak, FL, with a funeral service immediately following at 1pm. Interment will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Lake City, FL.
