Jerry A. Scarborough, aged 78, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.  Born in O'Brien, FL, on February 15, 1948, to the late Noah and Bertie (Jenkins) Scarborough, Jerry was a lifelong resident of Suwannee County. He was a dedicated member of Westwood Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Jeanette Scarborough of Live Oak; his son, Jason Scarborough (Ashley) of Live Oak; his daughter, Julie Augustine (Jamie) of Waycross, GA; his sisters, Sherrel McCall and Caroline Moore, both of Live Oak; and his cherished grandchildren, Allie and Maddie Scarborough, Josie and Jackson Augustine; sisters-in-law, Judy Lamb and Clydie Wheeler. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Fletcher, and his brother, Lester Scarborough.

Private family graveside services were held at Live Oak Cemetery.
