Jessica Renee Pickett, 37 of Live Oak, Florida, formerly of Krum, Texas passed away on August 20, 2022, at Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Jessica was born May 3, 1985, in Dalton, Ga, moving to Lake City, Florida in 1990. Jessica was a 2003 Graduate of Columbia High School. During High School, she was a member of the CHS chorus. Jessica worked at Walmart for fourteen years, working in various departments and working her way up to Department Manager. Jessica had a big heart and always put others before herself. She loved her co-workers and would do anything for them. Jessica is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Amy and Jamie Hopkins, Live Oak; niece: Kaitlin Hopkins, Jacksonville, FL; nephew: Jared Hopkins, Live Oak, FL. Jessica had the privilege of having a loving bonus family: Kristi and Randall Davidson of Krum, TX; Traci (Michael) Fipps, Krum, TX; Alexis and Cooper Fipps, Aarron Sprague, Kyle, TX. Her dearest close friends: Brianna (Michael) Kelley of O'Brien, FL; Liz Brantley of Lake City, FL; and Beth Reeves of Krum, TX. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Alex and Alfreda Gibson, and her grandfather John Walter Lethco II. As per her wishes, the final disposition will be by cremation. There will be a celebration of life for Jessica at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Research Organization at gbmresearch.org.
