John Westley Hardin, aged 42, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born on December 15, 1983, in Elizabethton, TN, to the late Phillip Dean and Betty Hardin. John was of Christian faith and moved to Live Oak in 2012 from Spencer, OH. He was employed as an ASE Mechanic for Motts Buick in Live Oak and Rountree Moore Chevy in Lake City, having previously worked at NDK Scrappers in Spencer, OH.

John is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer of Live Oak; his daughter, Gracie Starling of Live Oak; his sons, Issac Starling and Robert "Trapper" Hardin, both of Live Oak; his sister, Steffanie Hardin of West Salem, OH; and his nieces, Sierrah Knight and Savana Knight. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Earnest Hardin.
