John Michael Paul I, aged 58 of Lake City Fl, passed away on May 12th 2026. After multiple years of fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with many complications he's finally at rest. Born in 1967 in Boynton Beach Florida to Karen (Sparks) and Carl Paul, he was the youngest of 2.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corp and parented 2 children. He enjoyed playing poker and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a Sergeant at Columbia Correctional Institution and then worked 10+ years at PCS/Nutrien.

John is deeply missed by the ones he leaves behind; his son, John Paul II, His daughter Nicky (Craig) Topping. His nephew Brian (Randa) Paul and his extended family, friends and his brothers and sisters in the Marine Corp.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 26th at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Branford.
