John M. Sprow, III, aged 72, of McAlpin, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born in Miami, FL, John moved to McAlpin thirty-eight years ago from North Miami Beach. He retired as Operations Manager from McTyre Trucking in Miami/Orlando after a dedicated thirty-one-year career and then finished out his working career with K & H Timber Company in Lake City, FL . John was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Darcy E. Sprow of McAlpin, FL; his daughter Sandra Connell and her spouse Stacey of Durango, CO; his brothers Stanley Sprow and his spouse Pam of Lakeland, FL, and Jimmy Sprow and his spouse Denise of Wellington, FL. John was also a proud grandfather to Hunter Koon and his spouse Kylee of Lake Butler, FL, and Alex Connell of Durango, CO, and a great-grandfather to Kolt Koon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 31st at Daniels Memorial Chapel, with a visitation prior to the service at 3:00 pm.
