Joseph "Joey" Hearn, aged 50, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Born in Hollywood, FL, on August 8, 1974, Joey moved to Live Oak four years ago from Port St. Lucie. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Leanne Hearn, and a loving father to his sons, Reily and Brayden Hearn. Joey was cherished by his parents, Bob and Shirley Hearn, and his brother, Bobby Hearn, along with his sister-in-law Terry and nephews Colton and Colby. He was known for his selflessness, good heart, and he had a passion for football, especially the Miami Dolphins. Joey loved saltwater fishing and was renowned for his cooking, particularly his BBQ and prime rib. He was selfless and loving and funny. He loved to sing; he was always walking around singing. Joey was the best friend anyone could ask for. He loved to cook and entertain and just be around people. He loved all of his boys' friends like they were his and he called them his adopted sons. Joey leaves behind several extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
