It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judy Allen who departed from this life on April 20, 2026 at her home.

Born May 28, 1946 to the late Vasco and Marie Forsyth in Starke, Florida, Judy lived a life marked by compassion, strength and a deep devotion to her family.

Judy was a loving mother to her children, Marti (Shane), Michael, Kelly (Anita), Andy, Donna, Tina (Steven) and Eric (Julie). She was also a cherished grandmother to her 23 wonderful grandchildren: Brandon (Katelyn), Channah (Scott), Natalia (Dougie), Cassie (Oreste), Thomas (Jennifer), Heather (Pat), Chris (Erin), Wesley (Megan), Taylor (Seth), Kalie (Grant), Destiny (Cash), Gavin (Harlie), Roger, Michelle (Nate), Heather, Steven (Charlee), Jeffery (Sara), Marquita (Jesse), Josh (Brittany), Leslie, Trevor (Marcella), Brittany and Brandyn along with numerous great-grandchildren who were her heartbeat.

Judy had a great passion for not only her family but for baking, kayaking, plants, flowers and enjoying the peace of the river and simple sunsets.

Her love for children extended beyond her family as Judy was a school bus driver for more than two decades in Columbia and Suwannee counties where she was known for her work ethic, kindness and commitment to others.

Judy touched the lives of everyone who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.  Her selflessness, warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that lives on in all of us.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother William (Bill) Forsyth, her son, Michael Padgett and her daughter-in-law, Jerry Padgett.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Eugene Allen, and her sisters, Johnnie Johns, Nancy Alvarez, Cleo (Dwight) Elder and brothers Kelly Forsyth and Kimbo (Vickie) Forsyth.

A memorial service celebrating Judy's exceptional life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1 pm at her home located at 6507 240th Street, Obrien, Florida.  We invite all who knew and loved Judy to join us in honoring her memory.
