A woman named Mary Ann Barker gave birth to a little girl in the hot summer of July 1955. In that Era there was a culture shift, Civil rights movements, 9 out of 10 Americans owned a car, the very first McDonald's open and the death of James Dean.

She grew up in live oak Florida with her Mother Mary Ann Barker, Father Billy Wright and Brother Kermit "Butch" Browning. In the mid-seventies she met a man name Ronnie Moody of Jasper Florida. She had two children, Russell David Moody and Ronnie Shelton "Nyssa" Moody. Grandchildren David Michael Moody, Neicca Marie Moody and Ansley Kate Moody.

She demanded that her children would graduate no matter what even if it took the last breath out of her body. So she led with example and in 1993 she went back to high school did overnight classes and got her GED and graduated at the same time that her oldest son did David Moody.

She was a proud woman that loved her Children, her Husband, her grandchildren, her Home and enjoyed the simple things in life.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 13th at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL.

What she would want people to remember is, to be kind to one another and remember that tomorrow is not promised. So give people their flowers while they are here on earth is always better than when they are dead and gone.
