Kenneth "Bull Ellis" Herron, Jr.

Kenneth “Bull Ellis” Herron, Jr., passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on January 10, 1942.

In 2008, he moved to Live Oak from Davie, Florida, and made his home there. Mr. Herron was the owner and operator of K. Herron & Sons Concrete Cowboys in Live Oak for 32 years. He was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Kellie S. Hart and her husband, Dewayne, of Live Oak; his sons, Kenny Herron, II and his wife, Betty, of Bartow, Florida, and Clay Herron of Live Oak. He is also survived by his sisters, Shelby Webb of Live Oak, Brenda Haefeker and husband Doran, Marilyn Gaines and husband Frank, of Jacksonville; and by his brothers, David Herron and his wife, Mary, of Live Oak, and Dean Herron of Live Oak, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Herron; daughter, Caroline Skinner; parents: Elven Kenneth & Doris Ardell Herron.

Mr. Herron's service will be held on September 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Daniels Memorial Chapel, 1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064 with interment being held in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
