Kevin Bruce Hingson, Sr., aged 69, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on February 28, 2026. Born on June 16, 1956, to the late Goodley A. and Patricia W. Hingson, he was a lifelong resident of Live Oak. He dedicated 35 years of service as a Parts Manager for the Suwannee County School Board before retiring. Bruce was a devoted family man, a loving husband, and cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren, for whom he had a special nickname for each. He enjoyed working in his yard, taking care of his flowers and plants, and was known for his organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of his life. Bruce was an active member of the Friendship Baptist Church, where he was deeply involved.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Hingson; his daughter, Amber Hingson Solomon and her husband Christian; his son, Kevin Hingson, Jr. and his wife Brooke Long Hingson; his sister, Sharon Hingson Hale; his brothers, Clarke Hingson and Matthew Hingson; and his five grandchildren: Cayla Solomon, Haley Solomon, Kelsee Solomon, Harlyn Hingson, and Hadley Hingson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th at Daniels Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6th at Friendship Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Marshall Faulkenberry, with interment following in the church cemetery.
