Larry C. Newbern, Sr., 76, Branford, FL passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The Lake City, FL born native moved to Branford in 2011 from Jacksonville, FL and attended church at Hatchbend Apostolic Church. Mr. Newbern served in the Army, was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with his family. He also served as Pastor at Hatchbend Apostolic Church for eight years.

Mr. Newbern is survived by his two daughters: Tammy Newbern Nipper (Michael), Danielle Newbern Sims (Levis); one son: Larry C. Newbern, II (Amanda); two sisters: Lana Herndon, Susan Cole; one brother: Danny Newbern (Jane); fifteen grandchildren: Lane, Gracie, Abbi, Eric, Lang, Tyler, Destany, Alena, Landon, Marli, Hunter, Maci, Presli, Emma, Ariel and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 10th at Hatchbend Apostolic Church.
