Larry Newland Taylor, 87, Lake City, FL passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The Live Oak, FL born native moved to Lake City twenty-three years ago from Fort Myers and was a member of Wellborn Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor retired from Florida Rock after thirty years, where he oversaw several mines as Operations Manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, playing bridge and competitive shooting.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife: Lucy Taylor and daughter: Patti Taylor.

Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 4th at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Bass officiating. Interment will be held in Rosemary Baptist Church Cemetery.
