Laura A. Booze, 47, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Laura was born and raised in Live Oak. She was funny and had a great sense of humor. Gardening and traveling were some of her favorite activities and she could be adventurous and willing to try almost anything once. Laura retired from the Department of Corrections but truly loved her work taking care of guests at Comfort Suites in Lake City where she also met some of her closest friends.

Laura was predeceased by her loving father, Wilbur J. Thomas, Jr., that she dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother: Patricia A. Thomas; daughter: Miranda (Brad) Snow; son: Brandon (Mari) Willis; brother: Wilbur J. Thomas, III; aunt: Mary King; extended family, friends, and her dog: Miss-C.

There will be a service to remember her life at 11 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, FL. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 am.
