Lawrence W. Kuzniewski, 73, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida. Though he spent the final three years of his life as a resident of Lake City, Florida, Larry was a longtime resident of Memphis, Tennessee, where he spent nearly all of his adult life.

Born on April 10, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Charles Matthew and Marian Kuzniewski, Larry moved to Memphis at the age of 21. There, he became a fixture of the creative community as the owner and operator of his own photography studio. His charismatic personality and keen eye resulted in an impressive body of work, including many celebrated photographs published in Memphis Magazine.

An intellectual at heart, Larry was an avid reader and an enthusiastic golfer. He was also a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, never losing his love for his hometown teams. However, his greatest devotion was always to his family. His move to Lake City allowed him to live closely with his nephews, Timothy and Mark Pierce, during his final years.

Larry is survived by his older brother, Charles R. Kuzniewski, and his loving nieces and nephews: Timothy Pierce, Mark (Barbara) Pierce, Brenda (Sidney) Wood, Kimberly (Kevin) Dively, Tracy (Mike) Culan, and Chuck (Dana) Kuzniewski. He will be deeply missed by the entire family he loved so dearly.
