Lela Swails Bray, 66, Cocoa, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. The Gainesville, FL- born native moved to Brevard County in grade school and graduated from Cocoa Beach High. She was of the Christian faith and worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft for almost twenty years.  She loved the beach, her pool, the sunshine, and most of all her husband and family. Lela is preceded in death by her mother, Marvel Ann Swails and her father, Lenvil Sonny Swails. She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years: Steve Bray; daughter: Erika Nicole King; step-daughter: Amanda Bray; step-son: Bobby Bray (Kelly); sister: Linda Swails Smith (Sammie); brother: Danny L. Swails (Patti); three grandchildren: Mya, Makayla, and Skylee; two great-grandchildren: Kyren and Kailani; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be at 10 am Friday, November 18, 2022, with the service at 11 am and interment following, all at Hatch Bend Baptist Church.
