Leslie Ann Hanssen, aged 68, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on January 13, 2026. Born on December 24, 1957, in Sioux Falls, SD, Leslie moved to Florida in 1987 after her home burned down and settled in Live Oak ten years ago from Deland, FL. She was a private person who cherished her family, especially her granddaughters, and loved being involved in their lives. Leslie was a passionate NASCAR fan, with a particular fondness for Dale Earnhardt.

She is survived by her son, Kelvin Hanssen and his wife Candy of Live Oak, FL; her sister, Cindy Rice of Bethel, MN; her brothers, Butch Jellis and Bob Jellis, both of Sioux Falls, SD; and her beloved granddaughters, Abby and Sammy.
