Lois A. Bashaw, age 94, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 14, 1930, in Reddick, FL, to William Belton Anderson and Esther Irene Johnson.

On April 3, 1948, she married the love of her life, Clarence O'neal Bashaw in Statenville, Georgia. They celebrated 59 years together before death in 2007. In those years they had four children, Brad, Randy, Sandra and Kevin. Lois worked hard to raise her children to love and care for others and instilled in them the desire to live their lives serving the true God, Jehovah.

She and Clarence were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses on August 26, 1961. They both served faithfully until their deaths. She was known best for her love of her ministry. She spent much of her time sharing and teaching others about the beautiful hope that the Bible gives to us about the future and the wonderful blessing Jehovah has instore for the earth. In all her life's activities her most outstanding quality was Love, love for her God, her family and others, especially those in need.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her brother William (Bill) Anderson and sister Dorothy N Meeler. She leaves behind her sister Joyce Peppel, her four children Brad Bashaw (Linda), Randy Bashaw (Doris Ann), Sandra Rhoden (Wendell) and Kevin Bashaw (Tiffany). Along with nieces, nephews and 7 grandchildren (Jason Bashaw, Justin Bashaw, Lana Ward, Mandy Thomas, Jennifer Jones, Rebecca Bashaw. Christopher Bashaw) and many great-grandchildren.

She lived a full life, rich with love and firm faith in the hope that Jehovah through his Word, the Bible, promised. Psalm 37:10,11; Revelation 21:3,4. As she would say "It's just around the corner!" with a big smile on her face.

Our family would like to express our love and thanks to all who have supported her and us throughout this journey and our hope and prayer for each of you is that "God show to you the same comfort and mercy that he has given in us in this difficult time." 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 14th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14210 US Hwy 129 S, Live Oak, FL 32060.
