It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanie Stevens, age 88, on September 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boomer, West Virginia and has made Wellborn, Florida her home for many years.  She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Jerrold Stevens, her three children, Jerrold Stevens (wife Chunmei), Jeff Stevens, (wife Kathy) and Jim Stevens (wife Cindy). She dearly loved her six grandchildren Sarah, Jordan, Ashley, Keaton, Hooper, Sydney and great-grandchild: Isabella. She is also survived by her sister Rose Glenn (husband Edward "Bud") and brother Bill Knotts (wife Connie). She was preceded in death by her sister Pat Kinder and husband Harry.

Her legacy includes all the love and care she provided her family and all those around her.  Her love of music and the Lord was evidenced by her 50+ years of playing piano and organ at her many churches over her life. She was an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she played the organ.  She loved to play games and had weekly card games with her friends.  She also had a lifetime passion for crafts, and we are blessed to have many of the wonderful things she made over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jeanie's life at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Friday, September 20, 2024, with visitation at 2:00 pm and service starting at 3:00pm. Graveside service immediately following.

Memorials can be made to Baptist Children's Home c/o Mt Olive Baptist Church.

We will love and miss her forever.
