Lois Downing Walker, 93, of Live Oak, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was born in Ray City, Georgia to the late Calie & Georgia Spells Downing. Lois enjoyed canning and was known for many delicious specialties. She also loved to go fishing but nothing could compare to the time she spent with her grandson, Cody. He was truly the apple of her eye. In later years she enjoyed walking Russell and Jana's dog named Stella, that she called Pumpkin. Throughout her life she was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Walker; and several brothers and sisters.
Lois is survived by her son: Russell (Jana) Walker; and grandson: Cody (Adrianna) Walker.

There will be a service to remember and honor her life on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 5pm at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, FL. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 4-5pm.
