Lonnie Purvis,79, of Live Oak, Fl passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City after a lengthy illness. The Irvin, FL native lived all his life in Live Oak. He was a retired truck driver of 19 years for the Florida Rock and Tank Lines, Inc., White Springs, FL, and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Purvis is survived by his wife of 38 years: Susie Purvis, Live Oak; Daughter: Shand Erixton (Mike), White Springs; Sons: Kenny Purvis (Vanessa), Live Oak, Allen Brinkley (Brenda), Lake City, Tracy Brinkley (Sabrina), Lake City, and Darryl Brinkley (Lisa), Lake City; Brother: Jimmy Purvis (Annette), Lake City:14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Lonnie T. Purvis. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak with Rev. Dale Brannon officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time. Interment in the Live Oak Cemetery.
