Loretta Sapp Parkin, aged 61, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on February 21, 2026. Born in Live Oak, she returned to her hometown in 2017 after living in Jacksonville. Loretta was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother, known for her good sense of humor. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing, and shopping. She also enjoyed baking cakes and planting flowers. Loretta was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mickey Parkin; her mother, Shirley Ann Sapp; her daughter, Ciegie Rowe and her husband Dustin; her sisters, Duchess Boyd (Stacey), Amanda Moses (Daniel); her brother, Tamos Hoyt Sapp (Rebecca); and her three beloved grandchildren, Alexis, Houston, and Parker.

A celebration of Loretta's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 26th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Louis Medaris officiating, a visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 5:00pm.
