Lucile Parker Stranch, 90, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born in Bennettsville, SC she was the daughter of the late John W. Parker and Elizabeth Allen Parker. She received her undergraduate degree from Coker College and received her masters degree from Clemson University. Lucile moved to Live Oak, FL in 1987 and served the community as a guidance and college counselor for the Suwannee County School District until her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Lucile will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit and her amazing ability to support students through the often difficult middle and high school years. She loved to travel, try new restaurants, and went on many adventures with her husband Lawrence. She particularly loved their twice yearly trips to Maine and their trips to Europe.

Mrs. Stranch is survived by her daughter Christie Stranch Parke (Carl); and one grandchild, Sophie Elizabeth Parke. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence A. Stranch and her sister Ann Parker Gallop.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 26, 2025 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Live Oak, FL.
