Martell Jeanette Boyette Purcell, aged 85, of McAlpin, FL, passed away on January 3, 2026. Born on August 8, 1940, in Trenton, FL, she was a beloved member of the Friendship Baptist Church. Martell enjoyed crafting, sewing, and raising her grandchildren. She cherished her family and was actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Eugene Boyette and Clarice Corene McElroy of Trenton, FL, her brother, Aubrey Curtis Long of Dallas, Texas, and her son, Aubrey Lee Smith, III of Ft. Myers, FL.

Martell is survived by her daughter, Pauline (Steve) Frazier of McAlpin, FL, and her two granddaughters, Taylor A. Frazier and Kasey C. Frazier of Gainesville, FL.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
