Mary Smith Postell, 81, Live Oak, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. The Kings Mountain, NC born native moved to Live Oak in 1989 from North Carolina, was a homemaker and of Christian Faith. She was a Nascar-Richard Petty fan, loved hot, fast cars, spending time with her family; she also enjoyed good food, visiting with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Postell is survived by her daughter: Annette Saldo, three sisters: Carla Ghorley, Carolyn Smith, Betty Anderson; brother: Martin Smith; sister-in-law: Sandy Smith; grandchildren: Danny Ghorley, Kenny Ghorley, Nick Saldo; great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brook, Grayson, Amelia; great-great-grandchild: Samuel; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kathy Ghorley; sister: Kimberly Smith; brother: James Smith and nephew James Postell. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 29th at Daniels Memorial Chapel with a visitation being held prior to the service beginning at 1:30 pm .
