Melahn Harrell, aged 58, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the HCA North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, FL. A native of Live Oak, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Melahn dedicated over 18 years of her career as a Radiology Supervisor at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL. She was a devoted member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Rob Harrell, and her son, Dillon Harrell, both of Live Oak, FL. She also leaves behind her parents, Jimmy and Janet Roberson of Live Oak, FL; her in-laws: Gene and Vonceil Harrell; her sisters, Sherri and Keith Howell of Madison, FL, Mary and Jarrod Witzke of Commerce City, CO, and Lagina and John Dow of Live Oak, FL; her brother, Jeff and Susan Roberson of Perry, FL; and her sister-in-laws, Melissa Roberson of Pensacola, FL, and Rovon and Mike Cantella of Live Oak, FL. Her nieces and nephews, Dara Ward, Taylor Howell, Kyler Howell, Sydney Roberson Alverez, Claire Roberson Hughes, Hayden Witzke, Avery Witzke, Cameron Witzke, Chason Howle, Ryland Lawson, and Ryder Lawson, will also cherish her memory.

Melahn was preceded in death by her son, Dawson Harrell, her mother, Joan Radford, and her brother, Barry Roberson.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Chambers officiating. A private family burial will follow at the church cemetery.
