Mr. Michael Dean Wiederkehr, 67, was greeted by angels to go be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, following a long battle with illness. He was the first son of Hans and Peggy (Matthews) Wiederkehr and was preceded in death by his sister Regina Louise Wiederkehr. Michael was known by all as a gentleman who was a devout believer in God. Michael led by example and never forced his opinion on others. His leadership is what made him a great teacher and anyone who knew him gained his wisdom and love. Additionally, Michael greatly enjoyed reading about, watching videos on, and riding motorcycles, the faster the better. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and just being outdoors. Michael was a mighty man of valor, he was very patient, gentle, loving, caring, and welcoming of new people to become friends and bring them into his circle. Michael's spirit will continue through those that had the opportunity to be touched by him and will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him. He was guided by love and lived life to its fullest.

Michael is survived by the love of his life, his wife of fifty years, Kathryn (Davis) Wiederkehr, Perry, FL; his three sons, Michael Scott Wiederkehr (Cathleen), MI; Stephen James Wiederkehr (Stefanie), Jacksonville, FL; and Andrew Hans Wiederkehr, Lake City, FL; one sister, Angela Margo Moss (Daniel), Georgia; one brother, Keith Alan Wiederkehr, Tallahassee, FL; his two sisters-in-law, Brenda Carol Davis and Stacey Henderson (Ed) both of Live Oak, FL; his mother-in-law, Lorene (Mimbs) Davis of Live Oak, FL, and two grandchildren Alexis and Tyler Wiederkehr, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
