Milton "Ferrell" Phelps, Jr. , 54, Mayo, FL passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024. The Albany, GA born native moved to Mayo four years ago from Luraville and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mayo. He worked at Walt's Live Oak Ford and as a Sergeant with the Mayo Correctional Institute in Mayo, FL.

Mr. Phelps is survived by his mother: Gloria M. Davis (Mark), Mars Hill, NC; mother of his two sons: Casey Phelps, Mayo, FL; two sons: Austin Phelps, Mayo, FL, Bryce Phelps, Mayo, FL and one bother: Scott Phelps (April), Albany, GA.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 12th at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Mayo with Rev. Charlie Walker officiating.
