Miriam "Dale" Martin, 79, Dowling Park, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. The Clinton, SC born native moved to Dowling Park in 2020 from Cold Spring, TX and was a member of Advent Christian Village Church. Mrs. Martin was a proud Graduate of Valdosta High School, she worked as a teacher, a middle school Principal, and also worked in the District office. She loved to read, was very active in helping others and did a lot of volunteer work, especially Houston Food Bank and prevention of sex trafficking.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her two sisters: Gail Geer and Mel Harriss (Jim). She was preceded in death by her husband: Donnie Lynn Martin; daughter: Rebecca Lynn Martin; and sister: Ann Meier.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 23rd at the Village Church at Advent Christian Village with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations in Dale's memory may be made to Advent Christian Village or to the charity of one's choice.
