Neta Mae Land Ward passed away in her home in Hatchbend, FL surrounded by her family. The Lafayette County native was born May 6, 1936, to Dorthie and Buck Land. She retired as a bookkeeper at Lafayette High School and was also a loyal and dedicated member of True Life Apostolic Church.

She is survived by one brother, Raymon (Annette) Land, and three sisters, Lexie Land, Virginia Coker, and Mevelyn (Tommy) Lewis; three daughters, Donna (Mike) Tummond, Susanne Ward and Dawn (Max) Bass; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Roger) Browning, Jenny (Jason) Campbell, Amy (Darrell) Townsend, Kristen (Justyn) Hollier, and Wesley (Jenny) Bass; thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorthie and Buck Land; her husband: Carol Ward; one brother, J.L. Land and two sisters, Betty land Whigham and Patty Land Harris.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 15th at True Life Apostolic Church with Pastor Max L. Bass officiating. The interment will be held in Hatchbend Apostolic Cemetery. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 am.
