Olga Butts Dees, aged 79, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born on August 16, 1945, in Valdosta, GA, to the late William Clyde and Opal M. Butts, Olga was one of five children. She was a lifelong resident of Live Oak and a devoted member of Westwood Baptist Church.

Olga had a fulfilling career in banking, starting as a Customer Service Representative with First National Bank in 1972 and retiring from Barnett Bank in 1998. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Irvin T. Dees of Live Oak; her daughter, Janice Dees Baucom and her husband John of  Live Oak; grand-daughter, Leslie Baucom Rivers, and her husband Michael, High Springs, FL; her sisters, June Jones of Pensacola, FL, and LaVera Clow of Columbia, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Opal Butts, and her brothers, Bufford Butts and Lamar Butts.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th, at Daniels Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19th, at Daniels Memorial Chapel, officiated by Dr. Jimmy Deas. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
