Peggy D. Phillips, 74, of Live Oak, FL passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 11, 2024. Peggy was born in Vero Beach, FL but lived in Live Oak since 1967. She worked as a secretary and more for Westwood Baptist Church for over 37 years. Peggy was known as the walking encyclopedia for anything related to the church. She enjoyed shopping with her friends and spending time with family but especially enjoyed her four grandchildren. Peggy was always taking care of others and had a servant's heart. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by two brothers: Derwood and Donnie.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 54 years: Dennis Phillips; sons: Wayne (Tanya) Phillips, Kelly Phillips; sisters: Charlotte Martin, Elizabeth Myers, Nadi Webb; brother: Dale Marshall; and her beloved grandchildren: Ava, Carter, Brady, Jackson.

There will be a funeral service to honor Peggy's life at 2pm Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Westwood Baptist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 pm. Interment will follow the service in Live Oak Cemetery.
