Rachel Colleen Odom Bailer, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Haven Hospice Care Center in Lake City, FL. She was born on September 24, 1938 to the late Reverend John Marvin and Myrtle Ivey Lease Odom. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adolf Manfred Bailer, great-grandson, Cameron Daughtry, sister, Betty Hurst, and brothers, Donald Odom Sr., Cecil Odom and Harley Odom. Ms. Bailer was a lifelong resident of Suwannee County. She spent her life dedicated to serving others through her ministry, Agape Christian Counseling Services and was a longtime member of Northern Florida Christian Center.

Ms. Bailer is survived by three daughters, Darrica "DeDe" Dean Hall, Ria Rachel Gaviria (Luis) of O'Brien, FL and Dana Renee Miller (Frank) of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Linda Collins (Gerald) of Branford, FL, Marvynell Anderson (Andy) of Lake City, FL; three sisters-in-law Penny Odom of Branford, FL, Lorraine Odom of Lyle, WA, Florene Odom of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, Daniel Daughtry, Derek  Hedgespeth (Hillary), Ashley Solberg (Jeremiah), Natalie Hayes (Kyle), Travis Williams (Nicole), Lauren Carame Moss (Stefan); twelve great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Dawson, Lilly and Daxton; Ella, Jase,  and Lola; Cadence and Cohen; Maverick and Skylar; and baby boy Carame Moss; one great-great-granddaughter, Raelyn Daughtry and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Ms. Bailer will be conducted Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00am at Northern Florida Christian Center in O'Brien, FL with Pastor Retha Garten officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center, 6037 W U.S. Highway 90, Lake City, Florida 32055.
