Robbie William Suggs, age 60 of Hatchbend, FL passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2023. Robbie was born January 4, 1963, on Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, FL to Cecil and Joyce Suggs. Robbie graduated from Lafayette High School in 1981, he attended Santa Fe Community College and received an AS Degree in Industrial Electronics. Robbie worked at General Electric in 1984 as an Engineering Technician. In 1986, he worked for Shands as a Bio-Medical Engineer. Robbie became a Field Service Engineer for AES in Charlotte, NC in 1988. In November of 1991, Robbie and his business partner Kevin Morton established North Florida BioMed, a clinical chemistry repair service they still own and operate. Robbie was instrumental in establishing Validity Diagnostics in 2015, where he also served as CEO and became a member of the Board of Directors at Capital City Bank in 2000 and was serving currently.

Mr. Suggs is survived by his wife of forty years: Donna Suggs; two children: Brittany (Brandon) Hewett, and Brett (Breezy) Suggs; grandchildren: Kagan Hewett, Kamdyn Hewett, Ellie Clayton, Scarlett Suggs, and Branson Joe Suggs. He is also survived by his siblings: Linda (Frankie) Mosley, Roger (Ruth) Clifton, Christine (Randy) Ratliff; two brother-in-laws: Darryl Cannon, and Dean (Kim) Cannon; a host of nieces and nephews. Robbie was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 4th at First Baptist Church of Branford with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am. Graveside to follow at Hatchbend Baptist Church.
