Ronald  E. "Hambone" Hamilton, aged 61, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Born on December 18, 1963, in Polk County, FL, to the late Robert and Nelda Marie Hamilton, Ronald moved to Live Oak in 1993 from Jacksonville, FL. He was of Baptist faith and attended the Orchard Community Church and was a member of the NRA.

Ronald earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and served as the Physical Therapy Director at both Shands of Live Oak and Shands at Lake Shore for twenty-seven years, where he was highly respected by his colleagues and patients alike. He was an avid fisher, deer, alligator and bear hunter and oh the stories he would share. Ronald coached football, baseball and soccer to his boys growing up as well as many other youths within the community. He was often seen working the sidelines on Friday nights to provide care and cheer for the Suwannee Bulldogs.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Tara Williams Hamilton of Live Oak, FL; his sons, Dr. Hunter Hamilton (Sierra) of Miami, FL, and Chase Hamilton (Tabatha) of Baldwin, FL. He also leaves behind brother and sister in love, Dano and Lori Moran, two cherished nieces, Chloe Labas and husband A.J., and Anna Hamilton, both of Jacksonville, FL, as well as a beloved great-niece, Emily Labas, also of Jacksonville, FL, his precious yorkie girl, Ellie Belle who lovingly was always at his side.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jennifer Hamilton, and his brother Keith Hamilton.

A celebration of Ronald's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27th at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Live Oak, with Rev. Matthew Pennington and Rev. Eddie Blalock officiating.

Ronald will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his profession, and his community.
