On June 28th Ronald O'Quinn Lawson passed away with his family by his side at the age of 76 years. It is with deep sorrow and much love and that we mourn the passing of our beloved Ronnie. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Brenda; children: Amy (Amanda) and Ryan; grandsons: Chason, Ryland and Ryder; sister: Sheryl Nobles (Randy);brothers-in-law: Rick Tyre (Gale), Don Tyre (Mary), David Tyre (Pam); sister-in-law: Wanda O'Neal (Wyatt); aunts: Anna Laura Hall, and Imogene Kent; uncles: Walter Lawson and Buddy Buchanan; beloved nieces and nephews, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Thelma Driver as well as his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Dick and Jo Tyre.

Ronnie was the son of Otis Lawson and Ruth Buchanan-Lawson. He was born in Mayo, Florida and lived most of his life in Live Oak. He was a committed farmer and cared deeply about his work. He grew the family farm from 50 acres when he took over as a young man, to 290 acres today.  As meticulous and perfectionistic as he was at work, he was equally kindhearted and generous with his loved ones and the community.  He was active in the farming community and participated in numerous organizations including being elected to the Suwannee County Soil and Water Conservation District board. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed hunting and spending time with friends and family at the deer camp. Ronnie was always ready and willing to lend a hand to his family, friends, and neighbors. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Most of all, Ronnie was a loyal and loving husband to Brenda, caring deeply for her throughout their life together. He will be truly missed.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Daniels Funeral Home, 1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064. A Celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at 3pm Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Westwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery where many of his family members are laid to rest.
