Ross Brantley, 72, Mayo, FL passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. The Pahokee, FL born native moved to Mayo in 2023 from White Springs and was a Vietnam Era Veteran, while serving in the Navy. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Occidental Mining in White Springs and with Herschell Welding in McAlpin for eight years.

Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife of forty years: Sharon L. Brantley, Mayo, FL; two sons: Travis Ross Brantley (Bobbi), Lake City, FL, Ronald Bickel (Charla), Fayetville, NC; two daughters: Jeslyn Pioli (Thomas), New Port Richie, FL; Teresa Holiday, Lake City, FL; one sister: Annette Mims (Ron), Branford, FL; one brother: David Brantley (Debra), White Springs, FL; seven grandchildren: Ben, Hunter, Jennifer, Caleb, Nicholas, Kasandra, Christopher; one great-grandchild: Suwannee; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lee Roy & Rose Brantley and son: Steven Meyers.
