Scott Alred, aged 55, of Branford, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Born in Titusville, FL on May 5, 1971, to Norman Roy and Brenda (Sullivan) Alred, Jr., Scott spent most of his life in Branford. He was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Department of Transportation in Lake City, FL. He also contributed significantly to Alred Trucking in Branford and served the Branford Volunteer Fire Department for thirty-seven years.

Scott is survived by his mother, Brenda Sullivan Humphrey (Donnie) of Branford; his daughter, Madison Marie of Branford; his sons, Sam of Lexington, KY, Liam of Branford, and Weston of Branford. He is also survived by his sisters, April Allen of Branford and Jennifer Alred of Homer, GA, and his brother, Kenneth Humphrey (Jennifer) of St. Augustine, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother: Michael Alred.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 22nd at Old Hatchbend Cemetery, officiated by Brother Dwight Poole and Mr. Bruce Sullivan.
