Solomon Kevin Suggs, 62, of Branford, FL passed away suddenly on Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home. Kevin was born and raised in Branford, later settling here with his wife, Sabrina, and daughter, Katelyn, after living in many different states during his military career. Kevin proudly served in the US Air Force and Army where he retired as a Unit Training Manager. He loved fishing in the river or salt water, anywhere was good if the fish were biting. He also trained bird dogs, enjoyed all kinds of hunting, but especially loved time with wife, daughter, and family. Mr. Suggs was extremely active in his church, Gateway Baptist, and his faith in Jesus Christ. He was involved in the prison ministry, Men's Ministry, and Faith Riders. He also served as a deacon for several years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Sabrina; his parents: Geneva Collins & Solomon Archie Suggs; and sister: Beth McKinney.

He is survived by his daughter: Katelyn Suggs Williams (Chad); sisters: Amy Fletcher, Cheryl Brantley (Al Ray); twin brother: Herman Kim Suggs (Carla); many extended family and friends.

There will be a service to celebrate Kevin's life and faith at 11 am, Friday, August 2, 2024, at Gateway Baptist Church, 3252 FL-247, Lake City, FL 32024. There will be a visitation from 10-11 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery.
