Stanley T. "Tom" Swartz, 78, Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. The Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania born native served in the Air Force, moved to Live Oak from Miami in 1980, was a member of Melody Church, which he was a founding member since inception in 1981 and owned/operated Reliable Carpet Cleaning in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, building/woodworking, Christian music and watching old westerns.

Mr. Swartz is survived by his wife of almost 54 years: Bonnie J. Swartz; one daughter: Rhonda Swartz Furry (Jason); one son: Mike Swartz (Stacie); two sisters: Nancy Stark (Butch), Jan Rodriquez; one brother: James Swartz (Valerie); five grandchildren: Brandon Furry, Braxton Furry, Hayden Swartz, Camden Swartz and Madison Swartz. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Rachel Parker and Carol Platt.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, August 24th at Daniels Memorial Chapel at 3:00 pm,  services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Chapel with Pastor Frank Davis and Pastor Darrin Baldwin officiating. Interment will be held in Live Oak Cemetery.
