Stanley W. "Stan" Williams, aged 79, of Wellborn, passed away on June 6, 2026. Stan was born in Ft Smith, Arkansas where he attended school and graduated in 1964 from North Side High School. Two years after graduation, he joined the military. Stan proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Era Veteran. Upon his Honorable discharge from the Air Force, he settled in Suwannee County where he joined his parents who had relocated from Arkansas to Live Oak, Florida during his military career. He was of Baptist faith. His work career included Flowers Bread Co. in Live Oak, Occidental Chemical and Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative where he retired after 25 years.

Stan was pre-deceased by his parents, Melbourne "Willie" Williams and Faye Barrington Williams.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-nine years, Beverly E. Williams, and his son Derrick Williams both of Wellborn, FL. He also leaves behind his step-children: Julie Edenfield of Wellborn, FL, Lori Thompson of Starke, FL, and Joshua Duff of Wellborn, FL. His sister, Wendy McKeithen, along with her husband Mike of Luraville, FL and Stan's first wife and mother of Derrick, Martha Sue Tucker of Wellborn, FL. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Cooper & Lynlee Williams, Amanda Coglon, Kayla  Bell, Savannah Thompson, Brianna Dupree, and Memphis Duff, and a great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren and a 6th expected in September.

Private family services were held in O'Brien Cemetery to honor his memory.
