Susie Laverne Bembry, aged 72, of Lake City, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1953, in Live Oak, FL, to B. F. and Viola Burnham. Susie moved to Lake City in 1989 from Live Oak and was a cherished member of the New Beginning Church in Lake City.

She is survived by her loving family, including her three daughters: Connie Nichols of Lake City, Stacy Oakley (Bill Mason) of Lake City, and Amy Sherwood of Lake City. She also leaves behind her brother, Lucius Burnham, five grandchildren: Kyle, Kelsea, Dylan, Alexis, and John, and one great-grandchild, Emma. Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years: Roy Bembery along with her sister, Francis Bembry, and her brothers, Maurice Burnham and Timmy Burnham.

Services to honor Susie's life will be held at Daniels Memorial Chapel, with a visitation at 2:00 pm followed by Graveside Service at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 in Live Oak Cemetery.
